Life at RM Surveys

Benefits

A vibrant, social culture

Your work environment is just as important as the job you do, which is why we place high importance on our culture. Not only can we promise great coffee, birthday cake, and a Christmas Family Fun Day, but our social club throws some great events and activities throughout the year – including axe throwing, sports games, and Froth Town Craft Beer Festival (a highlight on the company calendar).

Training and development

We give you the tools and support you need to author your career. Explore your interests, build your capabilities, hone your leadership skills, and connect to meaningful growth opportunities with the full support of your team, manager, and mentor. It’s an individual journey dictated by you, not timelines and tracks.

Insurance for you and your family

Through our partnership with Paraplegic Benefit Fund (PBF), we provide 24-hour protection against spinal cord injuries for you and your family every day of the year, both on and off the job.

Flexible working

Our people define themselves by more than their jobs – they are caregivers, community members, volunteers, and more. We support your life outside of work by providing flexibility in hours and location of work.

Paid leave to volunteer

Every RM Surveys team member receives a day of paid leave each year to give back to the community, which can be used for a solo project or as part of a team. We are proud supporters of WA Variety, Canteen, and Smith’s Family Christmas Appeal, and regularly organise volunteering opportunities.

Energising challenges and clients

Our wide breadth of sectors and capabilities means no two days are ever quite the same. From defence contracts and Fremantle Harbour to Perth Zoo and Optus Stadium, we’ve contributed to some of Western Australia’s most iconic sites. If you like a challenge, we’re for you.

A company known for quality

We are considered one of the best surveying firms in Western Australia – something reflected in our calibre of clients and tenure of our people.

It’s a reputation 25+ years in the making and one that we maintain together, as a team, by continuously delivering intelligent, effective, and useful solutions to people who trust us to do so
